The Traditional 60-minute Reiki Treatment is Reiki in its purest form with no add-on's or consultation.  You will arrive and go strait to the massage table to receive hands on treatment.

 

Reiki, pronounced ‘ray-key,’ is an ancient form of alternative medicine called energy healing. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means ‘universal, spiritual consciousness, wisdom from God’ and (Ki) which means ‘life force, energy that inhabits all living things.’  Although Reiki is spiritual in nature, it has no religious affiliations and causes no harm.  It is a subtle, gentle, and effective form of energy work where practitioners act as a conduit, using a technique called palm healing.  We access ‘universal life force energy’ via attuned symbols, through the crown of the head, transferred out the hands, and directed into the subject.  Energy flows within and around the physical body (cells, tissues, bones, muscles, organs) and beams throughout the subtle body (biofield, mind, soul, chakras, meridians, auras).

Everything is energy.  Quantum physics tells us that the whole universe appears as a dynamic web of inseparable energy patterns.  On the subatomic level “particles” are connected in a way that transcends time and space.  Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole.  Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the divine matrix and connect directly to the energy field of the recipient.

Reiki supports women through the on-going physical, emotional, and mental changes of pregnancy. For women trying to conceive, Reiki is deeply relaxing and calming helping to reduce stress and promote sleep.  Many moms-to-be report feeling more centered, rested and grounded after a treatment. Reiki can be of great benefit to both the mother and her developing baby in preparation for childbirth.  For new mothers, a Reiki treatment offers a safe and supportive space for them to reorientate to themselves and their bodies after the birth of their baby.  Reiki helps stimulate and accelerate the body’s own natural healing process, bringing it back into balance and alignment.

Reiki is great for all infants and babies, but especially for preemies and newborns with special needs.  Even after just a week of life, some babies show early signs of stress.  This may seem harmless but continuous anxiety at such a young age may create disharmony and imbalance that can negatively affect a growing baby.

​

Some babies experience Reiki for the first time in a hospital’s neonatal ICU as a way to reduce the stress associated with pain, sickness, respirators, IVs, and other medical equipment. Reiki is helpful for those who are on life support or are too fragile to be held.  Reiki can help these tiny patients relax, improving their ability to cope with the stress of being hospitalized for the first few days of life. Reiki may also assist in regulating weight, helping babies sleep longer and more restfully, soothe colic, ease teething pain, hasten recovery from a cold, and generally become calmer and happier.

Reiki balances the energy system of your child's body; this  leads to improvement in health, increased relaxation and improved mental & physical well-being. If your child's life force energy is low or blocked, they are more likely to become ill (physically or mentally). If it is high and flowing smoothly through the biofield, your child is more resilient to disease or any form of negative energy and is also more balanced energetically.

For terminal patients, Reiki offers hospice support during the transition period.  For those with loved one’s that are facing a terminal illness where end of life is inevitable, there is no need to feel helpless.  You are able to gift  Reiki to your loved one.  Reiki energy will offer them peace and comfort to support them as they move from the physical into the spiritual world.  Reiki may offer reilief from their discomfort, pain, and confusion.

For those with a medical condition unable to come to our studio, we travel to your homes or medical facilities without  portable table service.  We are also able to send Reiki via distance.

Reiki is being used on members of Military and Veterans in hospitals to treat soldiers who have returned from active duty. The Army has unveiled a $4 million program to research and promote everything from "spiritual ministry, transcendental meditation,[and] yoga" to "bioenergies such as Qigong, Reiki, [and] distant healing" to mend the psyches of wounded troops.  

Reiki has been found effective in treating soldiers returning from war with hyper arousal, anxiety, panic and tension induced physical pain,  brain injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other conditions.

Pet and Animal Reiki is gentle, painless, noninvasive, stress-free and safe for all animals and species. Reiki’s healing energy will go where it is needed in an animal’s body and can be used from a distance making it ideal for animals in a variety of settings such as veterinary clinics, grooming centers, rescue shelters, and training facilities.  Reiki helps provide relief from symptoms of a serious illness to improve the pet's quality of life.  Also, Reiki calms animals in preparation for euthanasia helping them transition with greater peace and ease.

Sound Therapy is a therapeutic auditory-triggered experience where instruments that produce healing frequencies and vibrations wash over and bring you into a meditative state creating mind/body coherence.  Unique tones produce the perfect state for deep relaxation, creative thinking, intuitive messages, lowering stress and anxiety, improving sleep, mood, and well-being, heightening focus and energy, and a feeling of restorative rejuvenation.

 

‘Tibetan Singing Bowls’, also known as ‘Himalayan Singing Bowls,’ are known throughout the world for their unparalleled quality of sound.  Ours are hand-forged in Nepal, uniquely hammered and carved using traditional ancient technology.   They’re masterly created from seven sacred metals; gold, tin, silver, iron, mercury, lead, and copper.  Each of the metals in the brass alloy creates a unique resonating vibration that dances with the vibrations of the other metals.

Reiki Level 1: Shoden  

In Reiki 1 you are introduced to Reiki energy.  During Reiki 1 training, you will receive four introductory attunements. Students may be age 7 to 107.  No prior knowledge or experience is necessary.

Reiki Master Teacher: Shinpiden

In the Reiki Mastey you become one with Reiki energy and dive deep into your inner soul connecting you to your life's purpose. Reiki Master training is approximately 18-20 hours total, broken down into two classes consecutive days.  This includes printable training materials, attunement to symbol dai ko myo (master), 1 semi-precious gemstone with the master symbol, a pendulum, and a certificate of completion with lineage.

The Reiki Warrior offers review sessions for those who have already been attuned to Reiki.  Whether you find yourself out of practice, seeking another healer’s perspective, or desiring additional training, these sessions were created to boost your confidence as a practitioner. The sessions are driven by your questions and are geared to address your specific and immediate needs.  Sessions are one-on-one and may be done in-person or remote.  Proof of certification is required prior to booking if you are not already a student of The Reiki Warrior.
