We offer a comprehensive 'Introductory Healing Session w/Reiki,' customized to fit the client’s immediate unique needs.  This is a taste of our 'Signature Healing Session' which influences a person’s biofield to calm the mind, relax the body, and reset the nervous system.  A combination of several healing modalities are used in concert to provide a vibration-raising and universal restorative experience.  This session may include some or all of the following: consultation, well-being discussion, intention setting, breathwork, mindfulness, crystals selection, body scan, traditional Usui Reiki hands-on-healing, chakra assessment, clearing, and balancing, cord cutting, aura raking, aroma therapy, vibrational medicine (light, color, and sound), solfeggio tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls, energy psychology, empowerment coaching and feedback with suggestions.

Reiki, pronounced ‘ray-key,’ is an ancient form of alternative medicine called energy healing. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means ‘universal, spiritual consciousness, wisdom from God’ and (Ki) which means ‘life force, energy that inhabits all living things.’  Although Reiki is spiritual in nature, it has no religious affiliations and causes no harm.  It is a subtle, gentle, and effective form of energy work where practitioners act as a conduit, using a technique called palm healing.  We access ‘universal life force energy’ via attuned symbols, through the crown of the head, transferred out the hands, and directed into the subject.  Energy flows within and around the physical body (cells, tissues, bones, muscles, organs) and beams throughout the subtle body (biofield, mind, soul, chakras, meridians, auras).

Everything is energy.  Quantum physics tells us that the whole universe appears as a dynamic web of inseparable energy patterns.  On the subatomic level “particles” are connected in a way that transcends time and space.  Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole.  Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the divine matrix and connect directly to the energy field of the recipient.

Reiki is being used on members of Military and Veterans in hospitals to treat soldiers who have returned from active duty. The Army has unveiled a $4 million program to research and promote everything from "spiritual ministry, transcendental meditation,[and] yoga" to "bioenergies such as Qi gong, Reiki, [and] distant healing" to mend the psyches of wounded troops.  

Reiki has been found effective in treating soldiers returning from war with hyper arousal, anxiety, panic and tension induced physical pain,  brain injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other conditions.

The Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and Johns Hopkins report many benefits of Reiki in the medical setting including; stress relief, pain reduction, less medication needed, shorter hospital stays and expidited recovery time.  Reiki helps provide relief from symptoms of a serious illness to improve the patient’s quality of life and also eases terminal transitions.

Reiki supports women through the on-going physical, emotional, and mental changes of pregnancy. For women trying to conceive, Reiki is deeply relaxing and calming helping to reduce stress and promote sleep.  Many moms-to-be report feeling more centered, rested and grounded after a treatment. Reiki can be of great benefit to both the mother and her developing baby in preparation for childbirth.  For new mothers, a Reiki treatment offers a safe and supportive space for them to reorientate to themselves and their bodies after the birth of their baby.  Reiki helps stimulate and accelerate the body’s own natural healing process, bringing it back into balance and alignment.

Reiki is great for all infants and babies, but especially for preemies and newborns with special needs.  Even after just a week of life, some babies show early signs of stress.  This may seem harmless but continuous anxiety at such a young age may create disharmony and imbalance that can negatively affect a growing baby.

​

Some babies experience Reiki for the first time in a hospital’s neonatal ICU as a way to reduce the stress associated with pain, sickness, respirators, IVs, and other medical equipment. Reiki is helpful for those who are on life support or are too fragile to be held.  Reiki can help these tiny patients relax, improving their ability to cope with the stress of being hospitalized for the first few days of life. Reiki may also assist in regulating weight, helping babies sleep longer and more restfully, soothe colic, ease teething pain, hasten recovery from a cold, and generally become calmer and happier.

Reiki balances the energy system of your child's body; this  leads to improvement in health, increased relaxation and improved mental & physical well-being. If your child's life force energy is low or blocked, they are more likely to become ill (physically or mentally). If it is high and flowing smoothly through the biofield, your child is more resilient to disease or any form of negative energy and is also more balanced energetically.

Reiki may help children with anxiety, stress, fears, excitability, depression, anger, mood swings, insomnia, concentration, focus, ADHD or ADD, sensory processing disorders and Autism spectrum, OCD or ODD, pain and sore/tight muscles, behavioral issues, self awareness, and self esteem.

Pet and Animal Reiki is gentle, painless, noninvasive, stress-free and safe for all animals and species. Reiki’s healing energy will go where it is needed in an animal’s body and can be used from a distance making it ideal for animals in a variety of settings such as veterinary clinics, grooming centers, rescue shelters, and training facilities.

After a home clearing, people typically report sleeping better, feeling more at peace, and happier in their home.  If there has been a dramatic event in the house or turbulence in the family dynamic, those get immediately transformed and healed.  In a work environment, teams function better together and visitors often comment about something having been deeply transformed without knowing what has happened.

Vibrational Medicine is essentially healing the mind, body, and spirit with different forms of energetic frequencies.  It is a kind of energy medicine and approach to diagnose and treat illness based on the idea that we are all unique energy systems.  TRW works with a variety of vibration raising techniques that cause a positive shift guiding the physical, mental, and emotional state back into its core resonance and true nature.

Sound Therapy is a therapeutic auditory-triggered experience where instruments that produce healing frequencies and vibrations wash over and bring you into a meditative state creating mind/body coherence.  Unique tones produce the perfect state for deep relaxation, creative thinking, intuitive messages, lowering stress and anxiety, improving sleep, mood, and well-being, heightening focus and energy, and a feeling of restorative rejuvenation.

 

‘Tibetan Singing Bowls’, also known as ‘Himalayan Singing Bowls,’ are known throughout the world for their unparalleled quality of sound.  Ours are hand-forged in Nepal, uniquely hammered and carved using traditional ancient technology.   They’re masterly created from seven sacred metals; gold, tin, silver, iron, mercury, lead, and copper.  Each of the metals in the brass alloy creates a unique resonating vibration that dances with the vibrations of the other metals.

Breathwork is a breathing technique that uses exercises that intentionally change your breathing pattern.  Focused breathing improves mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.  There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way.  Breathwork promotes deep relaxation or leaves you feeling energized.

As a mindfulness practitioner, facilitator, and coach, TRW is able to lead you one-on-one or in a group setting through a series of mindful exercises, chanting, and/or meditation.  TRW will introduce and guide you in your discovery of mindfulness practices so that you can distinguish which exercises resonate with you and create a unique program that fits into your lifestyle.

TRW is certified in two Energy Psychology modalities; Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT); both involve tapping on the meridian points.  The purpose of these methods is to overcome negative thoughts and traumatic memories.  By focusing on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, sensations, behaviors, and known bioenergy systems,  Energy Psychology promotes the notion of a field of energy in the human body that can be manipulated, charged, or altered to promote healing.

Reiki I & II training is combined into one 9 hour+ class (please be prepared to stay an hour longer if necessary). You will receive an attunement for symbols; cho ku rei (power), sei hei ki (harmony), hon sha ze sho nen (distance), 3 semi-precious gemstones with these symbols, and a certificate of completion.

TRW offers review sessions for those who have already been attuned to Reiki.  Whether you find yourself out of practice, seeking another healer’s perspective, or desiring additional training, these sessions were created to boost your confidence as a practitioner. The sessions are driven by your questions and are geared to address your specific and immediate needs.  Sessions are one-on-one and may be done in-person or remote.  Proof of certification is required prior to booking.
